Idumuje-Ugboko is a close-knit, homogeneous group of four villages whose founding fathers and the early settlers are reputed to have migrated from the various towns and kingdoms in the present-day states of Delta, Edo and Ondo. The people of Idumuje-Ugboko have clearly defined systems and institutions that are wedded to their tradition and culture.
